Favorite Authors

Throughout the years, I have gone through different romance sub-genres, including contemporary, paranormal, sweet (innocent) romance, historical, and lately, erotic.  While my craving for spectacular characters and a great story still continue, I have found my tastes getting sexier.  Some of it is due to finding new indie authors that describe themselves as erotic authors.  One such author I want to talk about today.

Ramona Gray

Ramona is a Canadian erotic romance author that I discovered with her first book, free on Kindle, The Escort.  The book is very unique.  A woman in her late 20’s has been repressed by her controlling father, but when he passes, she finds herself without any experience in romance or without a way to get rid of her virginity.  When her friend suggests that she contact an escort, she does so.  There are a few twists in the story that I don’t want to give away, but it’s a great story with wonderful characters.

Her first book hooked me and each book after that drove up the heat level and I loved each one of them.  Ramona Gray has a way of writing erotic scenes that are both hot and intimate, taking you on an adventure while ramping up the sensual connection between the characters.

Below are three of my favorite books from Ramona Gray and I hope that you enjoy them as well.

Happy Reading!!

The Vampire’s Kiss

Abigail Winters leads a perfectly ordinary life until the night she’s transported to an alternate earth. Attacked by vampires, her life is saved by the gorgeous but dangerous vampire, Val. When Val is injured and needs her blood to heal, she repays her debt by allowing him to feed from her. But she is unprepared for the immediate desire she now feels for the sexy vampire.

Despite saving her life, Val has no interest in feeding from the chubby human. It will be weeks before her need for him wears off, if she doesn’t go mad first, and he has no wish to have her pining after him and begging him to feed from her again or worse – have sex with her. Gravely injured and with no other choice, he feeds from Abigail and is intoxicated by the sweet taste of her blood. Determined to claim her, his obsession with her grows as she fights her undeniable attraction to him.

When Abigail is taken from him, Val will do whatever it takes to find her.

My Rating and Review

It’s a perfect romance that has a hero and a heroine who are two very different people. Val, the vampire, is very judgmental when he first meets the heroine, Abby, but he quickly falls for her before she is snatched away from him. It was sweet and very hot! I would recommend this book!!

The Shifter’s Mate

Reese Warren knew she should never have gone out to investigate that glowing orb in her back yard. Curiosity killed the cat, as her mother always said. While her curiosity may not have gotten her killed, it’s certainly changed her life forever. Sucked into another world, she’s held captive in a compound with dozens of other women and a warden who auctions them off like they’re animals.

When she’s bought by a wolf shifter and his pack mates as a potential mate for their cruel alpha, Reese flat out refuses to accept a life of forced marriage and pushing out wolf babies. She just has to ignore her ridiculous attraction to the arrogant shifter, Kane, and find a way to escape him before he delivers her to his alpha.

Kane hates humans. Humans murdered his parents in cold blood, and his loyalty to his alpha is the only reason he’s bringing them into their pack. But he didn’t count on his immediate attraction to the crazy human who speaks of a world filled with impossibilities.

He will not disobey his alpha’s orders so why does his urge to claim Reese as his own mate increase with each passing day?

My Rating and Review

I absolutely loved this story between Reece and Kane. She is a strong and funny heroine, who backs up her talk with action, as she saves Kane and others throughout the book. Kane has reason to hate humans, but after he gets to know Reece, his opinion quickly changes. I thought it was romantic, funny, and a great read. I recommend this to any lover of romance and the paranormal!!

The Assistant

Three years.

Three years I’ve fantasized about my boss. Three years wondering what it would be like to have him touch me, to be trapped under that deliciously hard body while he makes every one of my fantasies come true.

I’m not his type. Hell, I’m not even sure the man knows my first name. But I’d make a deal with the devil himself for one night in his bed. I never suspected that beneath his cold exterior there was a fire that burned for me. Why would I? He’s never even touched me.

Until tonight. Tonight, he’s determined to make me his and – God help me – I’m going to let him.

My Rating and Review

The story between Aiden and Lina was scorching from page one, and as their relationship continued to develop throughout the book, the intensity grew. I loved Lina’s growth throughout the book, becoming stronger and going after what she wants, while Aiden was a great hero. I don’t want to give away too much, but I absolutely adore this book, and I can’t wait for the next one! Highly recommended!
