Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!
First of all, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season!!
As the year comes to a close, I want to thank all of my readers, of this blog and my books, for making my first year as a published author and blogger an exciting time for me. To celebrate, I wanted to share three of my favorite Christmas romances and I hope that you will enjoy them, too!
The Winter Man by Diana Palmer
Silent Night Man
What does Millie Evans want for Christmas? To feel safe. Even though her stalker is dead, he arranged for a hit man to kill her. Now the special government agent Millie has loved from afar for years has vowed to protect her. Tony Danzetta moves the prim librarian into his home and guards her 24/7. Dare she dream of keeping Tony, her own silent night man, by her side forever?
Wyoming rancher and single father Quinn Sutton is raising a child he knows isn’t his own. All the love left in his guarded heart goes to the boy. But when a beautiful city woman is stranded nearby in a blizzard, he rescues her and brings her to Ricochet Ranch. Amanda Callaway has her own secrets and plans to keep her distance. If only she weren’t falling for her unlikely hero.
My Rating and Review
I have to say that I loved both stories, but I have a special place in my heart for Tony in Silent Night Man. While he’s dangerous and very adept at what he does, he can’t seem to get over his anger at Millie and what he thinks she’s done to his friend. When he realizes that she is the victim, not the other way around the way his friend had mentioned, he vows to protect Millie.
In Sutton’s Way, Quinn Sutton lives in isolation with his son and that’s exactly how he likes it. When beautiful Amanda interrupts his life by staying at the cabin a few hundred yards from his home, he tries to stay away from her but realizes that he can’t. A secret threatens to tear them apart but the ending is perfect.
Yule Be Mine by Lori Foster
He Sees You When You’re Sleeping (This story not included in the reprint, FYI)
Booker Dean knows exactly what he wants for Christmas: his next-door neighbor, Frances Kennedy. And he’s got a gift planned for her that involves lots of delicious unwrapping.
White Knight Christmas
Officer Parker Ross hates Christmas, while Lily Donaldson lives for it. But he’s willing to be converted, especially when Lily is the one doing the persuading.
Do You Hear What I Hear
Sergeant Osbourne Decker suspects pet psychic Marci Churchill is barking mad, but she’s also a knockout. And when she’s accused of stealing a donkey from the local nativity scene, he can’t stop thinking about frisking her.
The Christmas Present
Furious at her cheating fiance, Beth Monroe decides to enjoy a payback tryst with his gorgeous best friend, and finds that revenge is best served hot and sweet. . .
My Rating and Review
This was a four-novella collection and I loved each and every story in the anthology. My favorite story was He Sees You When You’re Sleeping. Booker Dean is in a relationship, but since he met his neighbor the previous year, he’s wanted her instead. When his girlfriend breaks up with him, he sees the opportunity to finally be in a relationship with Frances, but she isn’t so sure.
Each of the four stories had their sweet Christmas related stories and I would recommend this book!
Snow Angels by Riley Knight
Sometimes, what you really need can be found where you least expect it … Even in your own house.
Billy and James both work more than they do anything else. Billy is a firefighter, James a paramedic, and both of them have dangerous, stressful jobs that leave little time for anything else, such as romance or even dating.
Then Polly, an adorable little black and white kitten that they rescue, comes into their lives and changes everything. James has always thought he was straight, but soon, he has reason to question that, and everything else, when he realizes that he’s falling for his best friend.
Will a blast from James’s past ruin everything that they’ve started to build, or can the magic of the holiday season give them the best gift of all?
My Rating and Review
While the relationship between James and Billy started slowly, I love how their relationship just seemed to fall into place immediately. They fell in love and it was in such a natural way. It was a great read!!
