Favorite Reads – Sexy/Erotic Reads
The last time I spoke about sweet romances that I enjoyed over the years. But since I am an erotic romance author 💋, I thought I would share some of the books where the heat level is off the charts.
I have been finishing up my M/M contemporary romance, and for a reason I have yet to understand, the sex scenes are steamier and more visceral than my other romances. Although some believe that the more sex scenes you include in your book, the more the character will suffer. But in writing this new genre, it has had the opposite effect on me. I seemed to have fallen in love with Ronan and Caleb as easily as I have with my other characters, but as I am writing their story, I feel as though their my favorites. That changes each time I start outlining a new story, but for now, I’m enjoying the time I have with them.
So, here are some of my favorite erotic reads that don’t constrict themselves to traditional romance.
The Dragons’ Demon: A Dragon’s Dream by Marie Harte
A prank gone wrong throws three unlikely partners together: A demon. A dragon. And an egg.
In the ordinary world, forces are at work which keep the balance of the universe in order. Enter Eve Sinclair, a higher demon with a mission—to sway those souls on the brink of Decision, to push them toward hell, as they are meant to go.
After a prank played by her brothers, Eve finds herself holding the proverbial bag, accused of stealing a precious dragon egg. Worse, it’s a royal egg, as she learns from Ranton, the furious commander of the dragon legion.
Not a creature to have on one’s bad side, Ranton shifts between his human and dragon forms, keeping Eve off-balance and off her game. Normally a master at manipulating males, Eve finds that Ranton is more than a match for her…as is his brother, the new dragon king. In their arms, she’s mere putty.
And soon they’re not only molding her desires, but her heart as well.

A fast read with great characters, very steamy love scenes, and an introduction to a new world of demons, dragons, and angels. Sexy, funny, and a must read!
The Assistant by Ramona Gray
Three years I’ve fantasized about my boss. Three years wondering what it would be like to have him touch me, to be trapped under that deliciously hard body while he makes every one of my fantasies come true.
I’m not his type. Hell, I’m not even sure the man knows my first name. But I’d make a deal with the devil himself for one night in his bed. I never suspected that beneath his cold exterior there was a fire that burned for me. Why would I? He’s never even touched me.
Until tonight. Tonight, he’s determined to make me his and – God help me – I’m going to let him.

The story between Aiden and Lina was scorching from page one, and as their relationship continued to develop throughout the book, the intensity grew. I loved Lina’s growth throughout the book, becoming stronger and going after what she wants, while Aiden was a great hero. I don’t want to give away too much, but I absolutely adore this book, and I can’t wait for the next one! Highly recommended!
Deep Desires by Charlotte Stein
Abbie has done her best to escape her violent past. But in the process, she’s avoided love, life and desire. So when she sees her equally closed off neighbour, Ivan, performing for her one night through his window, she can’t stop looking…
‘Deep Desires’ is an intense, sensual read perfect for anyone lusting after more than ‘Fifty Shades’.
Voyeuristic pleasures become Abbie Gough’s lifeline. But as she comes alive and craves more, Ivan backs away.
Ivan has his own secrets, the kind that draw Abbie into kinky games and her own shameful desires, while also preventing the bond of real intimacy between them.
Now she’s found someone so special, she’s not about to give up easily. And Abbie is willing to do whatever it takes to melt Ivan’s dark and cool exterior.
Even if captivating him means pushing through her limits to whatever lies beyond.

Wow! That’s all I really have to say about this book! It starts off very sexual (and it continues that way) but the heartbreaking stories of the hero and heroine make this book something other than developing a sexual relationship. It is about moving on from the past and holding onto a love so strong that the need for each other will always keep them together. A very strong, emotional book!
