My Newest Release – You for Christmas #MFRWAuthor
Hiding his feelings for his best friend has become second nature to Parker Hunt. Throughout his years of friendship with Jonah Lee, he’d hoped for more, but he’d never been able to tell Jonah how he felt or what he wanted. When Jonah’s plans fall through for holiday break, Parker is determined to spend their last Christmas together and this time, be brave enough to tell Jonah exactly how he feels.
Jonah Lee has always been in awe of his friend, Parker. His energy, enthusiasm, and honesty had drawn Jonah to him from the first time they met. And while he’s always been an open book with Jonah, lately, Parker had been holding something back. On top of that, Jonah has realized that his feelings for Parker have grown and for the first time in his life, he’s curious about what Parker’s lips would feel like under his and what his definite male body would feel against his.
Will the holidays bring everything both men want, or will they let this opportunity pass them by?
“I have a brilliant idea.”
Jonah eyed him warily. “Is this like the toga party you made me go to? I was groped all night. Come to think of it, you still owe me.”
“Yeah, not my best idea. But this one will be. And you don’t even have to dress up.”
Jonah raised his eyebrows.
“Please, and I’m asking very nicely here, please spend Christmas with me at the cabin?”
Parker hoped Jonah wouldn’t catch on to the way his voice raised on the last word. He didn’t want to tell Jonah how big the house actually was. That would lead to an explanation about why it could fit a small army inside, and if Jonah knew how many people would be showing up, he would balk.
“I don’t want to intrude.”
Parker rolled his eyes. Like Jonah could intrude on any part of his life. Not when Parker wanted Jonah with him forever.
So, playing hardball, Parker gave Jonah the puppy dog eyes along with the pouting bottom lip. He didn’t want to spring the tears to early. No matter how much Jonah hated Parker crying, he would know fake tears from real ones.
“It won’t work.” Jonah tried to sound assertive, but Parker could tell he was softening to the suggestion.
“I’ll get on my knees, right now, and beg you if I have to.” Parker noticed the flash in Jonah’s beautiful eyes.
Parker blinked and suppressed a shiver, trying to rid himself of his lustful thoughts about his best friend, focusing back on getting Jonah to come home with him.
“Come on, Jonah. Five weeks is a long time. Then when we graduate in six months, we don’t know if we’ll ever see each other again.”
Jonah rolled his eyes at Parker’s drama-laden speech. Parker cursed under his breath, realizing he might have laid it on a little thick. Jonah wanted to say yes, but something held him back. He needed a little push, and Parker knew exactly where it would come from.
Feeling a little underhanded, Parker reached for his back pocket. He pulled his phone out and wiggled it at Jonah, who only raised his brow. As he pressed the button for speed dial, he gave Jonah a wicked grin.
Jonah swallowed, hard. Parker watched as his Adam’s apple moved and he wanted to nibble the sensitive skin on his neck, but his thoughts scattered when the person he wanted to talk to picked up.
